Even my kids are onboard with my daily blog….it’s really time for sleep but one of the kids sat by me and said you blogging before bed mom? Yes I am!
So today, well it has been a good day. Pokemon hunting and walking with 2 of the kids and one dog after some mindful watercolours this morning. A delicious Dahl cooked but hubby for dinner. Chatting and an online art date which was great fun. I was working on a lesson from Effy Wild’s Book of Days. This year there are lots of different teachers as well as Effy each month and I worked on a lesson by Sal Scheibe and I’m at the stage where it’s kind of ugly duckling but you can see the potential. I am really eager to see it finished but it needs to dry really well (so I can rub and blend the pencil in).
Doing the blog along, check it out here, has reminded me of poeming (it is a verb). I found my file of poems I kept and I thought I’d share some. I haven’t premed for a while and lots of these were written when I was depressed and before and during taking medication. I’d like to poem again but I am unsure where to start, I know I will soon thought because I dreamt about writing a poem last night….I am remembering my dreams which is a whole other story.
So here’s a poem because creating comes in many forms:
The world closes in on me
I push them away
I Throw them away from me
Don’t touch
Don’t talk
Leave me be
I don’t want to need you
Or anyone
I want to be safe
Not care
Not hurt
Not feel
The world traps me
Without touching
No escape.
I need someone, but I don’t want to.
